Salted Caramel Eggnog

Serves: 4


1 c. caramel sauce

1 pint (16 oz.) store-bought eggnog

4 oz. spiced rum

Kosher salt

Garnish (optional):

Whipped cream

Ground nutmeg

Sea salt

Cinnamon stick


  1. Pour caramel sauce into a microwave-safe container and heat on high for 1 minute, stirring twice.

  2. Drizzle the inside of your glassware with the warm caramel sauce.

  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, heat eggnog until warm.

  4. Pour eggnog and spiced rum into glass. Add a pinch of salt and stir gently.

  5. Garnish with whipped cream, a pinch each of nutmeg and sea salt, and pop in a cinnamon stick for looks.

  6. Enjoy!

Virgin version: This drink is so sweet, you don’t need to replace the rum with anything — just leave it out!
